Sugar Nellie - Live, Laugh, Love

Good Morning everyone,
It's been great having the lovely weather so far this year but it does mean more and more cricket! Not that I'm complaining...if I'm watching cricket, I'm not doing housework!! It does mean very little card making time but I finally have a little card to share today. This is a gorgeous, very old, rubber stamp from Sugar Nellie - Live,Laugh,Love.

I've coloured her with promarkers and copics and added lots of glitter to her fairy wings, and lots of liquid pearls. The background papers are from Crafters Companion. I've used a LaLa Land Crafts garden fence die, a Spellbinders fall foliage die, A MFT Stitched Blooms die and a sentiment stamp from Lili of the Valley - embossed labels.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
As you like It - Favourite Sketch - This is one of the layouts I go back to time and time again. It gives me the opportunity to use pretty papers and add lots of die cuts too.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement. Emma has another match today, so hopefully I'll get chance to catch up with your blogs later in the weekend.
Have a lovely weekend

Acrobat - PBSC DT

Good morning everyone,

It's the 1st Saturday in May which means it's time for our Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

This month the theme is ...
Anything Goes or
Option : Monochrome

This little cutie is a rubber stamp called 'Acrobat'.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics, and added glitter to the cobweb - although the sparkel isn't realluy showing up! The background papers are from Craft Creations and Make & Create. I've used a  Spellbinders decorative grand circle die, a Creative Expressions peony die, and a Joanna Sheen rose leaf die. The sentiment stamp is computer generated.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Allsorts Challenge - Inspired by a Song : Tightrope from The Greatest Showman (Love all of the songs from this film!)
As You Like It - Soft or Bold Colours - I love both soft  and bold colours so it does usually depend on the type of card I'm making. When Mr Mojo has gone on his holidays I do find softer coloures easier and more forgiving to work with.

I can't believe that I only managed to post 1 card for the whole of April. I would like to say I'll do better in May, but cricket season has started so I don't get that much time now.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement
Have a lovely weekend.
Lorraine x
