Box of Chocolates

Good morning everyone,
Woohoo!!! I was really chuffed to be asked to be a guest designer on the ABC Christmas Challenge. I feel very honoured as you know that the ladies over there are very talented. I love Christmas!! Today is the start of a brand new challenge and it's
                                                                     'M' for 'Make a gift'
This fortnight's challenge is sponsored by Stamp and Create.

When I first saw this challenge I completely freaked out, and went into a total head spin, but eventually, once calm and after a bit of google searching, I came up with this!
I love Chocolate and what better gift that a box of your favourite chocs!!LOL I haven't made anything like this before so I struggled a bit!! I had to take the photo quite quickly too as the choccies were starting to melt in the sun!!
I made a square box, added a drawer and put an easel card on top!! Just like that! - not LOL!!
I made the box by scoring and folding several pieces of card and sticking them together. I covered the box with paper from Craft Creations and then edged the sides with a Martha Stewart snowflake punch. The image is from 'The Snowman' set from Crafters Companion, and I've coloured him with my promarkers.
The drawer handle is cut from a Marianne Creatables die and I've finished off with a bit of ribbon from my stash.
Hope you like it!
I'd like to enter the following challenges
Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge - Bingo (Ribbon, Snowflakes and Blue)
Make it Monday - Anything Goes
Chrimbo Crackers - Anything Goes

Thank you for taking the time to visit me today and for all your comments, I love reading them.
Good luck with this challenge, I can't wait to see all your Gifts.

Congratulations on becoming Guest Designer at ABC Christmas Challenge.

Love the idea of the chocolate box. If I made this I think I would have to sample some of the chocolates - to ensure they were OK of course!
