Aimi with Lantern

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to say a big 'Hello' to my new followers. Thank you very much for taking the time to look at my little blog and I hope you enjoy your visits.

Well, I'm now officially a 'Stay at home mum!' I think I'd better make the most of it before my money runs out and I need to get another job!!

I have a little card to share with you toady. I've used one of the new images from Lili of the Valley, she's called 'Aimi with Lantern'
I've coloured her with promarkers, and used liquid pearls for the decoration in her hair.

The background card is from Kanban. By the time I had layered up the kanban card, black card and mirri card...this card weighs a ton!!
I've used a Cheery Lynn die to make the 'arch' above the image and I finished off with some gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and a bit of bling and ribbon from my stash.

I'd like to enter the following challenges
Wild Orchid Crafts - Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Divas by Design - Use some texture

Well, as I'm at home I'd better get on and do some housework! - no excuse not to do it now!! LOL

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your lovely comments.
Lorraine x

Wow Sweetie this is gorgeous. I adore the kanban card and I expect it does way a ton with all the layers. I hope you are handing it over and not posting it. Lol!!! What did I say in the posting before? You will not have the money to buy now. It didn't take you long to get this awesome stamp.

What a fab card you've made! Cute image, your colouring is perfection and my oh my... those gold patterned paper is so perfect for this.
Enjoy your retirement... I have two years to go and am looking forward to it. I tell myself that's why I buy so many paper supplies now while I have the regular paycheck... it would be a disaster if I had to cut back.
