After You!

Good morning everyone,
Happy Weekend!! What a week that's been! Tom's feeling a bit happier after the boys were banned from the playground for a week, but they are back on Monday so we will see how it goes! The teachers have been very supportive, and everything  is being monitored.
I'm having a day out with the girls tomorrow and we're going shopping to Newcastle! I'm really looking forward to it, hopefully I can knock a few things off my Christmas shopping list!!
Anyway onto today's card. I've used 'After You' from Penny Black. I'm afraid it's one of those cards that doesn't quite come out as intended....for a start it wasn't going to be an easel card! Oh well!
I've coloured him with my promarkers and the backing papers are from LOTV.
I've used the Memory Box , Frostyville border die, a Marianne Creatable Tree and Marianne Creatables snowflakes. (covered in glitter)

The snowflakes are liquid pearls and I've finished off with a bit of ribbon.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Penny Black & More - Any die will do
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Cute Christmas
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Winter
The Paper Shelter - Christmas Easel
Crafty Cardmakers - More than 1 diecut/punch
My Mums Craft Shop - Winter Wonderland

Thanks for visiting me today and for all your lovely comments. I really appreciate them.
Have a lovely weekend.

Love these Penny Black stamps. The hedgehogs are real cuties. Great card Lorraine. Talking of shopping in Newcastle you are making me homesick for the North East. (I am originally from Stockton on Tees and that's where all my family are.) Enjoy your weekend and I do hope Tom is okay next week. love from Christine x

I don't know what you intended to do with this card, Lorraine, but how it has turned out is gorgeous! Your liquid pearls snow is the perfect finishing touch to a lovely card.

Hope your shopping trip to Newcastle was successful.

Sadly, bullying is so rife in all walks of life - I hope the school has put an end to those little thugs' reign of terror, and Tom once again enjoys school.

Hugs,
Jennifer. x

Awww Lorraine, I've had to read your last post to see what you meant about Tom and the playground. :( I'm so very sorry to hear about your little one .. that's so disturbing. Bullying is such a serious topic and kids need to learn that it is totally unacceptable. I hope those other boys have learned a lesson, and hope their parents have taught them that it is NOT okay to bully! sheeesh! Glad to hear that the school is being very supportive too.

Well, your card is so DARLING! I love easel cards so very much! And your die cuts are such a beautiful whimsy touch to this! Absolutely gorgeous!

Big Hugs to you (and little Tom too!),
Elise
