Distressed......Oh yes....totally!

Hello Everyone,
I thought I'd have another go at 'distressing' today, and I am well and truly distressed!! I wanted to have a go with frantage.....so I tried...not so sure I got it right - it went all over the place! Then I thought I might as well have a go at the edges and used a distressing tool- gave up with the cheese grater, my poor fingers couldn't take anymore so I bought a Tim Holtz distressing tool! I need to lie down in a dark room!! I was going to stitch around the edges too, but the thought of getting out the old sewing machine just filled me dread so I used a cool grey 5 promarker and a ruler!!lol

The image is Plantpot Kitty from Di's Digi Stamps. I've coloured this little cutie with promarkers and flexmarkers. The background papers are from First Edition - Daydream.
I've used a Die Namics Plentiful Petals die, a Marianne Creatables Ivy die and a Memory Box Pipi Butterfly die. The sentiment tags are from Lili of the Valley and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Bunny Zoes Challenge - Stitching
Divas by Design - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - RibbonsCute Card Thursday - So sweet
Sweet Stampin - In Stitches
Totally Gorjuss - Furtastic
Papertake Weekly - Bow dies
Passion for Promarkers - Ribbon, lace or twine

I went to see The Hobbit at the cinema a few evenings ago. A brilliant film but I came home with a migraine. I haven't spent much time on the computer or doing anything else for that matter, so I'll be catching up with you over the next few days.

Thanks for taking the time to visit me today and for all your lovely comments. Have a lovely weekend.
Lorraine x

Fabulous card Lorraine. Your adventures with the cheese grater made me chuckle...poor lamb. And that is why you seldom see distressing on my blog even though I love it :) Have a good weekend. Pat k x

Aaah what an absolute sweetie and am loving all your distressing and your Tim Holtz tool, will be so worth the money, and you will wish you had bought one sooner.

I hope your migraine improves, mine have so improved in the last couple of months, since i have been to an accupuncturist - mind you it's not been cheap, but i've gone from 7/8 a month to 3, it turned out it was my hormones, Luv Sam x

Your card is so lovely, sweet image and colours are fab.
When I use frantage I always wonder why I bothered, I've not yet got the hange of it, hugs Kate x

Lol... I feel that way about distressing too - usually use scissors (although I don't distress very often), but I've just ordered a Stampin' Up tool so we'll see if that's easier! And yes, Frantage is very messy... looks fab though!

Your card is gorgeous. Love that sweet image and your fabby colouring :o) Hugs, Lisa x
