Perfect Stripes - Lili Of the Valley DT

Good Evening Everyone
I have another card to share using one of the gorgeous new images from Lili of the Valley. Not long to wait now as they are due out on Monday 17th.
I love this little vintage boy, he reminds me of my Grandad. He had a lawnmower like this and I remember it was so heavy but he used to let me try to push it! This is ......'Perfect Stripes'.

I've coloured him with promarkers and the background papers are from my box of bits. I've used a Lawn Fawn sun die, a Die-namics picket fence die, a Memory Box puffy clouds die and a little flower punch. The sentiment stamp is also part of the new release - Grunge Stamp sentiments.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

Remember those mowers as well Loraine, despite having a nice shiny motor mower my Dad still preferred one like that, said it gave a close cut.

It's a super image and perfect for masculine cards, thanks so much for sharing with us this week at Allsorts challenge.

...and didn't they make a whirring swishing noise as the blades cut the grass!! A fabulous card, very reminiscent indeed of days gone by, and beautifully done as always. Not much lawn mowing going on here today, that's for sure!! xx

I remember a neighbour back when I lived at home who had an old manual mower that left stipes on the lawn, it used to look immaculate. Your card is beautiful Lorraine. I'm just praying for it to stop raining long enough for me to actually get out and cut mine!x
