Hello Dear

Hello everyone,

Today's card is made using my new penny black stamp. This is a slapstick stamp called 'Hello Dear'. I thought the little mice were just so cute!

I've coloured it with my promarkers. The background papers are from First Edition - Up Up and away. The challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge is to use spots and stripes, I used stripy paper for the middle band and I've just realised that I've covered up most of the stripes!

I used a marianne creatable die, and finished off with some of the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
I'd like to enter the following challenges

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Spots and Stripes
Penny Black & More - Oh So Cute (2nd entry)

Thank you for stopping by, have a great weekend

April Showers

Hello Everyone,

I would like to say a big 'Hello' to my new followers. I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my blog and for all the lovely comments you leave. My Dad had his stroke 4 weeks ago and is still in hospital and I've been absolutely amazed by the amount of support I've had from you lovely bloggers out there. So I want to say a big 'Thank You' to you. - It means a lot.

Today's card is a digi stamp from Digistampboutique and is called Oscar and Umbrella.

I've coloured him with promarkers. The background papers are from K and Company. I'm not sure of the name of the collection as it was a huge 200 sheet pad and I've lost the top page!

The spellbinders edgeability dies have been used again, I do love these but I know I really should try something different but Hubby has put me on a spending ban (again!!).

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges

Papertake Weekly - April Showers
Simon Says Stamp - April Showers, bring spring flowers
Joanna Sheen - It's a Mans World

Well it's my Wedding Anniversary today, Hubby forgot!! He came home at 7.30am off night shift and went to bed! Ah well, it's only been 9 years!!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

What. . .no purple!!

Hello Everyone,
Well yet another week has absolutely flown by! It's now Wednesday (again!) which means another challenge at  I ♥ ProMarkers.
This week the challenge is 'WHITE ON WHITE' and we are sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads.  If you're stuck for inspiration, check out what my fab team mates have done.

I have managed to do a card without a hint of lilac or purple on it!!

I've used a magnolia stamp,  and coloured her with my promarkers.

The background was made with a cuttlebug embossing folder and spellbinders nestabilities and edgeabilities. I added some flowers with my joy!crafts die and a bit of ribbon.

I love the white background on cards, it really makes the image stand out so I'm looking forward to seeing all your wonderful creations.

I'd like to enter the following challenges

Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Passion for Promarkers - White on White

Thanks for taking the time to look, and for leaving any comments.

Bear Hug

Hello Everyone,

Well I've been up early again (6am!!) with the children and while they are happily playing together I've managed to get another card done!! I'm sure next week, when they are back at school, I won't be able to get them out of bed!!

Today's card is for a sketch challenge by Gayle at the Sugar Bowl. I love the sugar nellie stamps and this Gorjuss Girl is called 'Bear Hug'.

I've coloured her with promarkers. The background papers are from Nitwits, and I love them.  I seem to be making alot of purple cards lately!

I've even managed to use a different die for the border, this one is from marianne creatables. (Not my usual spellbinders edgeability!! LOL).

I've finished off with a bit of ribbon, some bling and the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
The Sugar Bowl - A Sketch by Gayle
Simon Says Stamp  - Your favourite tool - My Cuttlebug!!

I hope you've all enjoyed the long Easter weekend. I have, but I have to go back to work tomorrow, sob! - I love being at home with the kids!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

Yet another little Gift Hedgy!

Hello Everyone,

The Penny Black Saturday Challenge this week is to 'case' Helen's card. I've just got two more new PB stamps but neither quite fit this weeks challenge so I've gone back to my good old 'Gift Hedgy' stamp. What would I do without him??! LOL!

I've coloured him with promarkers and cut away his presents. I made a flower from a die and added that instead!

The flowers are made using a Joy!crafts die with card candi in the centre. The bow was done with purple ribbon, but no matter how many photo's I took it looks more blue on the picture! I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Case It
Penny Black & more - Oh so cute

Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Thistledown Fairy

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for all your kind wishes about my Dad, I really appreciate them. He is starting to improve slowly, and the nurses are optimistic that he will get the use of his arm back. He is still in hospital and will stay there as long as he continues to improve. The nurses there are absolutely fantastic!

Now, onto today's card. This rubber stamp is Thistledown Fairy from LOTV. It's one of their older stamps but it's new to me and I love it!! (My new ones haven't arrived yet - bank holiday post!)

I've coloured her with promarkers and added some glitter on her fairy wings.

The background papers are from Nitwits. I've used my spellbinders edgeability die for the border.

I've added some of the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. They are white sweetheart blossom flowers, 15mm floral foundation roses and a 25mm open rose. I finished it off with ribbon from my stash and a bow that took loads of attempts to tie!! I covered the badly tied bow with a heart shaped button.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges
Lillies Little Fairies - Ribbon, Buttons and Bows
Wild Orchid Crafts - Things with Wings
Sir Stampalot - Happy Birthday

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.
Happy Easter everyone.
