Mouse with Santa Hat - Lili of the Valley DT

Hello Everyone,
I have a card to share tonight using a brand new image from Lili of the Valley. This little cutie is part of their second Christmas release and is due out next month. He's called 'Mouse with Santa Hat'.

I've coloured him with promarkers and the background papers are from First Edition. I've used a poinsettia die from Creative Expressions and a Hunkydory Moonstone holly die. The sentiment is also part of the new release from Lili of the Valley.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes

We were lucky enough to get a last minute break in Devon for a few days. We had gorgeous weather and managed to see lots of places, Lands End, St Ives, Bude, and Becky Falls on Dartmoor. I've come home for a rest now! Although, guess who's got a cricket match tomorrow!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

Emma has had a lot of cricket over the last few weeks and there's still more to come. She did manage to hit her maiden 50 last week, finishing on 77 not out...so one very happy little batter!! It does mean that my blogging/card making opportunities are a bit limited!! And guess what we are doing today...yes, another cricket game!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

It's been a busy couple of days here. Yesterday, Tom had to go to hospital for an endoscopy. It's the first time he's ever had anything done so he was a bit nervous but the nurses were brilliant.  Today, surprise, surprise...Emma is playing cricket - away at Northumberland! So not much blogging happening around here and I'll hopefully catch up with you all soon.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your comments and encouragement.

Kindness and Joy at PBSC

Good morning everyone.

It's the first Saturday of August which means that it's time for another challenge at Penny Black Saturday ChallengeOur theme this month is ....

ANYTHING GOES
(Option : Interactive)

I'm not very good with interactive cards so I've stuck with our option of 'anything goes'. I really needed to increase my Christmas cards this year so I treated myself to a couple of new Penny Black stamps and this is one of them. It's a clear stamp called 'Kindness and Joy'.

I've coloured them with promarkers. The background paper is from First Edition -  I've used a die-namics picket fence die, a Spellbinders snowflake die, Creative Expressions winter tree dies and sentiment stamps from Lili of the Valley.

Our sponsor this month is 1-2-3 stitch with a £10 voucher for one lucky winner.

Cottage Rose

Hello Everyone,
We have been all over with Emma's cricket but yesterday we had to go all the way to Coniston in the Lake District!  Emma's team won and what a stunning setting it was for a game of cricket and lots of sunshine too.
After the 3 hour drive home last night, I'm worn out!!
This is one of those cards that has taken days to make...10 minutes here...10 minutes there etc! I finally got it finished, using a Stampendous Stamp called Cottage Rose.

I've coloured it with promarkers and layered it onto green card, just adding a few drops of liquid pearls to finish.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my litle blog and for all your comments and encouragement.
