Polar Christmas - Lili of the Valley DT

Good Morning Everyone,
Cricket season finished last week, which meant I had a free day on Saturday so I spent a little bit of time in my craft room! I had to make the most of it as training starts next week!!
You may have seen a new release from Lili of the Valley. One of the A5 polymer stamp sets is called 'Polar Christmas' and this little cute snowman is just one of the stamps from this set.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics and the background paper is from Hunkydory - Ombre Snowflakes. I've used a Sweet Dixie snowflake frame die and a Crafts Too Fir border die. The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.

Alf Bowling

Hello Everyone,
I'm trying my best to catch up with some card making, after an extremely hectic season of cricket watching!
A friend asked me to make a card for someone who loves bowling and this image is perfect. This is Alf Bowling - he's a very old image from DigiStamp Boutique and unfortunately is no longer available.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics. The background papers are from Craft Creations and Echo Park. I've used a die-namic picket fence die, a Lawn Fawn Sun die and Memory Box puffy cloud dies. The sentiment stamp is from Uniko.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
As You Like It - Favourite Die: I have lots of 'favourite ' dies! I love using tehm on cards so it does depend on the type of card I am making. generally if it's a summer card my favourite would be the Lawn Fawn set which includes the fabulous stitched sun die.

I haven't done any crafting at all during August - Emma's cricket sort of took over the summer holidays! She still has a few games to go, today, tomorrow and next weekend - then, hopefully I may get the chance to get back in my craftroom......or catch up with the housework!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your comments and encouragement.
Have a lovely weekend.

Snowman and Robin - Di's Digi Designs

Good afternoon everyone,
I've not been around much lately as it's cricket season - well if you call sitting around the edge of a field waiting for the rain to stop, cricket!
Whilst sitting on the edge of a damp field, I realised I have already booked one or two Christmas fairs and I've made hardly any Christmas cards this year so I thought I'd better get a wriggle on, before the fair comes around and I've got nothing to sell!
I love snowmen and I love robins and this gorgeous stamp combines the two. it's a digi stamp from Di's Digi Stamps called 'Snowman and Robin'.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics. The background paper is from a very old pad from Little Clare's. I've used Creative expressions winter tree dies, a La La Land Crafts garden fence die and Snowflake dies from Spellbinders - I've layered these up using 3D foam pads and added an enamel dot in the centre. The sentiment tags are from Lili of the Valley.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog. I'll try not to leave it too long next time!
