Hello everyone,
I love the Lili of the Valley stamps and I have bought a few just lately! Unfortunately none of them fit in with this weeks challenge of tea time, so I've used one of the die cut squares.
This little cutie is from the Fluffy Bunnies die cut sheet, I've cut the bunny out and used some 3d squares to give it a bit of depth.
The background papers are from First Edition, Spring Drop. The flowers are made using a Joy!Crafts die with card candi in the centre.

pond-side celebration
Good evening everyone,
It's Penny Black Saturday Challenge day today and it's a sketch by Nat. As you may already know, I've only been rubber stamping for about 3 months, which means I have very few rubber stamps! (I've bought one or two over the last month and have a couple on order but shhh!. . . don't want hubby to know!!) I've resorted to using a stickeroo for today's card. On one hand I feel like I'm cheating when everyone spends so much time colouring an image on the other hand I love the stickeroos as they are so quick and easy to use, and the images are gorgeous.
The stickeroo is from the Pond-side celebration sheet. The backing papers are the Teahouse papers by Dovecraft. The flowers were made using a die by Joy!crafts. I doubled it up and added some card candi in the centre.
Thank you for taking the time to visit and have a fab weekend.

My first Sugar Nellie!
Hello Everyone,
I'm afraid I gave in to the spending ban and I found the sugar nellie website. . . . oh dear, I'm going to need a second mortgage!!
So today I coloured my very first sugar nellie stamp. This one is called 'Charlotte'.
The challenge at 'the Sugar bowl' is to follow a sketch with the option of adding kraft. I've coloured her with promarkers, and added some glitter on her wings.
The lilac quilted effect paper is from nitwits fairytaletoo and the purple flowery paper is from a Brenda Pinnick stash I've had for years. The brown kraft paper is from craft creations.
The white flowers are made from a joy! crafts die I bought recently.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges
The Sugar Bowl - Sketch
Simon Says Stamp - 3 Different Papers
Papertake Weekly - Get Krafty
Thanks for stopping by,
Until next time

Buzz in the Air
Hello everyone,
I can't believe the half term holiday is nearly over, it's gone so quick. I've been so busy with the kids this week I haven't had much time to make any cards, but I did manage to grab an hour this morning!
The Penny Black Saturday Challenge is 'Lace and Pearls' and the I love Promarkers Challenge is 'Nature', so I've tried to combine the two. The Penny Black stamp that I've used for this card, is called 'Buzz in the Air'.
The background paper is 'Spring Drop' from First Edition. The photo doesn't really show the colours up very well, but the papers in this pad are absolutely gorgeous. You need one to use and one to keep!
I've coloured the little hedgy with promarkers, and I've added some glitter to the bumble bee's wings.
Well, it's number one son's 7th birthday tomorrow and I haven't made his birthday cake yet, or wrapped his pressies! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I had better go and get baking!!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and for all your comments.
Until next time

I always struggle with really fussy cards, so I was a bit worried when the challenge said 'lace'. I found this flower lace in my local haberdashery a few weeks ago, and couldn't resist!
I added a few pearls in the centre of the flowers in the background paper. I've used a marianne creatable die for the fence and the bird box, and spellbinders edgeabilities for the central band.

Love and Kisses
Hello Everyone,
I've had a lovely surprise today. Paula over at Joanna Sheen's Challenge Blog has chosen my card for their 'Daily Talent Spot'. I'm absolutely chuffed to bits - this is a first for me! I just wanted to say a BIG 'Thank You' to Paula for choosing my card and for all your lovely comments.
As today is Saturday, it can't mean anything else other than Penny Black's Saturday Challenge and their theme today is Love and Kisses.
It's yet another Pink card for me. It must be because I absolutely love the background papers from the Nit Wits Val 'n tine collection. I didn't have any pink card to match the paper, so I've used white card and coloured it with my promarkers. The colour I used is 'Rose Pink'.
The image is a Penny Black rubber stamp - Gift Hedgy. On this stamp the little hedgehog is carrying a pile of presents but I've cut these off and added some die cut hearts instead.
I stamped the image a couple of times and layered him up to give him a bit of depth. The hearts, flowers and the pearl gems were all coloured with promarkers to match the paper. I've used a spellbinders edgeability die for the central band and a Lili of the Valley sentiment.
I'm entering this card into
Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Love and Kisses
I Love Promarkers - Love is in the Air
As it's half term I've taken the week off work so I'm hoping to have a couple of lazy mornings this week - if the kids will let me!! I doubt it - lol!
Thanks for taking the time to visit.
Have a good weekend

Love is in the Air
Hello again,
I picked the kids up from school today and pulled them home on their sledges. I have muscles in my arms and shoulders that I never knew existed!!
This is my second post today - I must be on a roll - lol!!
This card is based on a sketch by Jaqui at Lili's Little Fairies.
I have used the 'Love Grows' stamp from Lili of the Valley. I only bought it last week, so this is the first time I've coloured it. . . .OK, it's the second time, the first one went in the bin!
The background paper is Daisy Meadow from craft creations. I used an x-cut die fro the hearts and the words are part of the stamp from LOTV.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges
Lili of the Valley - Sketch
Papertake Weekly - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Love is in the Air
Sir Stampalot - In the Garden
Thanks for taking the time to visit, and I really appreciate all your comments.

Bingo!
Hello Everyone,
Well, we've had more snow and it's turned very, very cold again! We were out in the garden after school yesterday building a snowman, it was dark before we finished, and we all came in cold and wet but I really enjoy playing out with the children!
Today's card is for the Penny Black and More Challenge, which is Bingo. The colours I've chosen are Green, White and Cream.
I've used a Spellbinders edgeability die and added some cream card behind the die cut. The background paper is from the Papermania Secret Garden collection. I've added a sentiment from Lili of the Valley and a little bit of green card candy.
I'm going to try and do another card this afternoon as our school finishes for half term today - Somethings tells me I won't get into my craft room for the next week - lol!!
Thanks for stopping by,

Love is. . .
Hello,
The snow is still here, and there is a thick mist but it seams to have warmed up a bit this morning! It's lovely outside! Hope you're all having a happy Monday.
Today's card is a rubber stamp from the Strawberry Kisses collection by Crafter's Companion. I've coloured it up with promarkers.
The rubber stamps are gorgeous and leave a lovely clean stamped image. I've really enjoyed colouring this and will have to do some more this afternoon!
The background papers are the Val'n tine collection from Nitwits. I've used an x-cut die for the heart shapes and a spellbinders mix and match classics edgeability die for the middle band.
And finally I've added some of the gorgeous flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I've used white sweetheart blossom flowers, 2 tone mulberry open roses 25mm, and floral foundations pink roses 15mm set B.
I'd like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Lili's Little Fairies - Spring Colours
Good Afternoon All,
Tom and Emma have just had their swimming lesson today, it was -1.5 on the way there! They've had a play in the snow, got wet through and frozen solid, so they are now in front of the TV warming up, and I'm taking the opportunity to have a play on the computer! (Should be cleaning the kitchen floor as there is a pile of wet clothes and puddles of water all over it!!)
Back to the cards, this weeks challenge at Lili's Little Fairies is 'Spring Colours'. I've used my Fairy on tiptoe stamp again as it is one of my favourites and a friend asked me to make a card for her using it. So here it is. .

If you've got the snow, I hope it isn't causing you too many problems. Thanks for taking the time to stop by, and I really appreciate all your comments.
Bye for now

Penny Black Saturday Challenge
Good Afternoon Everyone,
It's soooo cold here and it's snowing! I'm staying inside! I've promised the kids, if it snows enough we'll go out sledging!
This weeks Penny Black's Saturday Challenge is a Case It Challenge by Debby. My son Tom helped me choose the colours for this card so it's a blue one! There is a theme with my children, Emma likes pink and Tom likes Blue! - lol
The rubber stamp is called 'Hedgehog Kisses'. The stamp has two hedgehogs with balloons having a kiss but. . . . well, I er. . . cut one off! (a hedgehog that is!). I cut out another hedgehog and layered it on top to give a bit of depth, and coloured him with promarkers.
The background papers are from craft creations, A cloudy blue sky and Green Meadow Daisies. I've used a Marianne Creatables die for the fence and the little bird. The white daisies are Anita's peel offs on white card and a blue gem added to the centre. I'm not sure that I like this card, I think I do but it isn't what I had in mind when I started!
The snow is really coming down now - everything is covered already!
Have a good weekend and stay warm.

Pepper
Good evening everyone,
Thank you for all your get well wishes, I really appreciate them. I think the antibiotics must be working as I'm starting to feel a litlle bit more human now! I had ear ache and a sore throat for 5 weeks before I went to the Doc's - that'll teach me to go and see him sooner in the future!! Well, I have done as I'm told and have been taking it easy. I haven't been into work, I haven't done any housework and my hubby has been taking the kids to school. . . . . .but I have managed to make a card - he he!!
and here it is
This weeks challenge at Papertake weekly is a sketch, which I have tried to follow for this card. The rubber stamp is from a 'Pepper and friends' collection. I've coloured him with promarkers. The background paper is by Brenda Pinnick. The colours don't show up very well, they are quite bright blues and purples, not that you'd guess from the photo! I've just added a sentiment and a couple of blue buttons.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges
Papertake Weekly - A sketch
I Love Promarkers - Photo of Buttons
