Christmas Cheers!

Good Morning
It's the weekend, yay!!  Well I'm still full of cold and now have a horrible cough to match and I 'm supposed to be doing the school fair today!
We have a brand new challenge starting at Di's Digi Designs Challenge and this fortnight we want to see........
CHRISTMAS PROJECTS : ANYTHING BUT A CARD

We are sponsored by Robyns Fetish with a fabulous prize fro one lucky winner. There is a second prize draw for anyone who enters the challnege using one of Di's images.

Now, don't look too closely at this....it's my first attempt at a candle....and I think I need a lot more practise!!lol
The image is from Di's Digi Downloads and is called 'Christmas Cheers'

I coloured it with my promarkers but had no end of trouble trying to colour on tissue paper...any tips would be most gratefully received! Also how do you get the glitter to show up??
Anyway I finished off with a magnolia lace die and a bit of ribbon. I quite enjoyed this challenge and have already had a go at a couple more.....I might show you before Christmas!! lol

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Papertake weekly - Anything Goes
Holly Jolly Christmas - Bingo (Glitter, Free(ribbon) Red)
Crafts and Me - Anything Goes
The Squirrel and the Fox - Summer or Winter

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your lovely comments.
Have a lovely weekend.

This is fantastic Lorraine. I can't see anything wrong with it. It is awesome!!! I can't help on the glitter question as I can't get the glitter to show up in my card photo's far less on tissue.

Hope you feel better soon.

Lorraine your candle is fabulous, I can see the glitter on it, but you could put extra glue on the outside and then add more glitter once you've melted the paper onto the candle. As for the coloring it looks wonderful. I want to know how you managed to print on the tissue paper.
Anyway thanks for joining us at Holly Jolly this week.

Hi Lorrain, your first candle is great, love also the additional decoration at the bottom. Great.

How did you transfer the digital stamp onto the tissue paper???

Regarding the tips, I usually but a "housholdpaper" beneath, I tried to explain this on my blog in different posts.

Thank you also very much for all your so lovel and great comments all the time, sorry, that I am not so regularly here, but I would love the have a 36-hours day:-).

Big Hugs Claudia
