Tom and Emma were outside playing yesterday with their friends when Tom decided to use his face as a break on the pavement! He came running into the house with blood pouring down his face and leg, initially I thought we would be having a trip to A and E! Once I cleaned him up, it wasn't that bad, just lots of grazes and bruises. Having said that he was sent home from school today with headache and feeling sick. I think he is OK now after a bit of rest.
I have a quick card to share today. I used an image from the Vintage Boys Sketch pad from Lili of the Valley.

Oh dear, poor Tom! He's certainly in the wars. Hope he's okay now. I love what you have done with this LOTV image. I bought this paper pad at the NEC earlier this yasr and forgot about it till I saw this card. Must dig it out. Hugs Christine xx

I had a bit of a wry smile when I read of poor Tom's woes; I remember my Matt gingerly hobbling into our place one summer's day... having used his backside and thighs as a brake after parting company with his bike halfway down the hill at the end of our road - he had to soak in a bath for an hour to get the gravel out and could hardly sit for a week with the grazes; it did slow him down a bit though, in a way our nagging not to zoom down the hill hadn't, lol. Love your card, btw :-) Donna xx
