My very first shaker card!

Hello Everyone,
The challenge at Simon Says Stamp this week is to make a Shaker card....I've never made one of these before so I thought I'd have a go....I didn't have any acetate so I used a piece of plastic from a food container....I don't think I made the 'shaker' part quite deep enough as the sequins keep getting stuck...either that or I put too many in!! Anyway here it is!!
I've used 'After You' from Penny Black and the background papers are from Lili of the Valley.
I've used a Marianne Creatables Snowflake die, a Marianne Creatables icicle die and ribbon from my stash, oh yes and lots of glitter on the snowflakes and icicles.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Simon Says Stamp - Shake It
ABC Christmas Challenge - M for Mail
Crafty Hazelnuts Extra - Anything Christmas
Sparkles Christmas Challenge - A Winters Scene

I've got a very busy week this week. It was Tom's sports day yesterday, we have Emma's sports day tomorrow and then Tom's school trip to Magna on Thursday (I'm going as a parent helper!). Inbetween that we have rainbows, dancing, cricket matches and a trip to Exscape with cubs!!....I need a cuppa!! Roll on the school holidays!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your lovely comments.

It's always a hectic end to this term, many times I have wondered why they don's spread the activities a little.

Anyhow I do love your Crimbo card Lorriane, lovely frosty feel.

aw this is so cute Lorraine - a great first attempt (i would never have known) I used to hate end of last term when my kids were little - hated school concerts (oh the out of tune recorders) and sports days (tantrums and bad sports)! - thank goodness they're all grown up - though even grown up you've got horrible music and tantrums - nothing changes lol hugs Judith xx

Oh did you get dragged into a trip too?... Dex has volunteered me for his trip to the transport museum next week! Morgan did suggest I also come to Whitby with his year next week, but I'm not sure my nerves are up to 60-odd 11yr olds lol.

Your card is gorgeous! Fab design and love the cute image :o) Hugs, Lisa x
