Good Morning Everyone,
How long does it take you to make a card? I know all my craft room is in boxes and I can't find the things I need.....and number 1 daughter keeps pinching things...promarkers....glue etc....but this took me nearly 4 hours in total!! Everytime I sit down to do anything, I spend the next 30 minutes looking for the tools!
Anyway it's time for my first card this month for the Lili of the Valley design Collective so here is a gorgeous little LOTV stamp.....ST506 Cobweb.
I've coloured her with promarkers and added lots of glitter to her fairy wings....(glitter eventually located under number 1 daughter's bed!) The background papers are from the beautiful new paper pad - Romance and Roses. These are on special offer at the minute. The sentiment tags are from Lili of the Valley - set 24
I've used a Die namics petals die, a die namics fence die and ribbon and pearls from my stash.
I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Fab n Funky - Fables and Fantasy
I love Promarkers - Anything Goes
Crafters Cafe - Anything Goes
In the Pink - Summer
Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your comments and encouragement.
Have a lovely weekend

So frustrating Lorraine, I remember when my craft rom was revamped and I was like a fish out of water.
Such a pretty card today, lovely light and airy with the soft summery colours.
Have a good weekend.

So gorgeous, love that little sweetie
Beautiful! I really must get this stamp used, she's so lovely. I bought all the new papers even though I'm hardly making anything, still couldn't resist!
Our extension hasn't even properly started yet, although I'm hoping it won't be quite as stressful as yours sounds... our rooms will stay the same, with the extension going the full length of the side of the house and a little round the front too. So most of the work can be done without too much disruption... I hope! Good luck with yours, hope it's all done soon.
Hugs, Lisa x

Oh! dear not good when things are in a muddle. Good luck with your Craft Room

It may have taken you 4 hours Lorraine.....but worth every minute, it's gorgeous. Sue x
A beautiful card Lorraine, such a pretty image and papers. One benefit of having two boys is that they don't borrow my glitter!

Hi Lorraine, what a beautiful card and so beautifully coloured!

Beautiful card Lorraine, as always :-) I've got that petals die, all neatly stored with my zillion others, really must crack it out! Four hours?? So QUICK, teehee. Seriously I rarely get change out of four hours, sometimes it's twice that time... I have said to my friend that I should only have three paper pads and ten images on hand, that would cut the "choosing" time by HOURS. If I have a clear vision of what I want at the end I can do a card in a few hours, from colour to clean up, but that's rarely the case ... I'm like my dog; easily distracted "squirrel" :-)) Donna xx
this is a stunning card.
Love the stamp and colors you used
thank you for sharing this beautiful card with us

This is gorgeous Lorraine and well worth the four hours! I can tell you it often takes me a couple of days... as I do a bit, then get distracted or want to think for a bit etc... or I take all the relevant bits out of my craft room and keep re-arranging to see what works best until I'm happy and go back and glue!! LOL!
Sooooooooo you've moved house? Where are you now then?
Hugs

So pretty Lorraine, I love this image and your papers are beautiful. Hopefully you will have your craft room sorted soon, hate it when I can't find things, hugs Kate x
Gorgeous card Lorraine. Hope your craft room is sorted soon. One advantage of having a teenage boy is that he's not into glitter!
