Elbow Grease - Lili of the Valley DT

Hello everyone,
I was hoping to get some crafty time during the school holidays, but it's not  happening! The day after we got back from our holiday to Wales, we had to take Emma to a 4 day cricket festival in Malvern. She had an amazing time playing against Ireland and Kent. We had a lovely time watching all the cricket too - the college is set in beautiful grounds and the weather was gorgeous. Since then, she's played in Durham, Scarborough, Bradford, basically cricket has hijacked my holidays, (I've had 3 days at home in 3 weeks!) not only is she playing for numerous teams, she has now decided to start coaching and is helping out with the Under 11's.
Inbetween all the cricket it was my Dad's birthday last Thursday and I very quickly cobbled together a card for him. I've used a brilliant stamp from Lili of the Valley. This is Elbow Grease.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics. The background papers are from Make & Create. I've used a cog die from Joy!crafts and added card candy in the centre. I found a piece of hessian to add texture and used a computer generated sentiment.

Penguins - Lili of the Valley DT

Good Morning Everyone,
We've just come back from a few days in Abersoch in North Wales. A lovely relaxing time had by all, but no crafting done what so ever!! Lots of washing and ironing to do ready for the next trip!
Anyway, Lili of the Valley are back on the TV today at 12pm - with a gorgeous new Christmas launch. Being away on my hols means I didn't get the chance to make any cards for the promotion, so hopefully I'll be able to do some over the next few days. So, here is my one and only card so far using some very cute little penguins!

I've coloured them with promarkers and copics, cut them out and attached them with foam pads to give a bit of dimension. The die cut trees are Dee's Distinctively layered tree die, a Memory Box star die and a handwritten script sentiment stamp from Lili of the Valley. The background paper is from my box of scraps but I think it might have been from The Works last year!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Passion for Markers - Dies or punches
ABC Christmas Challenge - N for New - (new stamps released today!)

Prickle all the Way

Hello Everyone,
I can't believe I haven't been on blogger for 2 weeks. Emma's cricket has just been taking over, along with the school play - busy making props for the year 6 production of The Tempest!
I managed to get a couple of hours in my craft room this morning, and decided to make a Christmas card. I was hoping the thought of snow might cool me down a bit!
This gorgeous stamp id from Di's Digi Stamps and is called 'Prickle all the Way'.

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics, and the background papers are from Crafters Companion. These have some lovely silver foiling on them but it's not showing up great on the photo. I've used a Creative Expressions poinsettia die, a die namics picket fence die and a sentiment tag stamp from Lili of the Valley.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement. Have a lovely weekend and I hope you all stay safe and cool in this heat.
