Baby Elephant - Lili of the Valley DT

Good Morning Everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Ours was very quiet, hubby was at work so it was just me and the teenagers! It's taken me a while to get round to do any colouring, but finally I had a play with this little elephant. He's just one of the brand new images due to be released by Lili of the Valley in January.

I've coloured him with promarkers and used a Creative expressions peony die for the flowers. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

There are lots of adorable new baby images due to be released in January, watch out for more gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

I'd like to wish you all a very happy, healthy and crafty New Year.

Polkadoodles Snow Couple

Good Morning Everyone,
I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get another card made before Christmas, but when I saw these cute snowmen from Polkadoodles, I just couldn't resist! There's a whole range of them and they are Too Cute!

I've coloured them with promarkers and the background paper is from Crafters Companion - Glistening snowflakes. I've used a Dees Dinstinctively Stacker Tree die and a Memory Box star. The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.

I'm usually running around getting everything ready to have a house full of family..but not this year. My mum and dad are staying safe at home, my brother and his family are doing the same and my hubby will be at work on a 12 hour shift.....so just me and the kids. Although it will feel very strange the most important thing is to keep everyone safe.

That just leaves one more thing...

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Snow Bird

Hello Everyone,
It's that Stampendous snow bird again. Yesterday I attempted to colour him like a blue tit....today I tried to make him look like a coal tit!

I've coloured him with promarkers and added lots of glitter to the snow and around the edges - unfortunately the photo doesn't show it up very well. The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley. I've used a Creative Expressions poinsettia die and added a few gems in the centre.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your comments and encouragement.

It's going to be a very different Christmas for us this year as I'm sure it will be for lots of you. Just in case this is my last post before the big day, I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

I've used a Creative Expressions poinsettia die, a memory box tree die and a Joanna Sheen and a Hunkydory moonstone die for the pine fir. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Hedgehogs Sunflower Friend

Good Morning Everyone,
Firstly I need to say a big Thank You to all of you who have sent best wishes to my Mum. The stroke has left her with very little sight - none at all in her left eye and just shapes in the right eye. It means she can't read or watch television, so a big lifestyle change for her. My Dad had a stroke 8 years ago which left him partially paralysed , so one can see but can't walk and the other one can walk but can't see! What with lockdown and everything else I think they are finding things a bit tough - although they would never let me know that! I'm just grateful that they are both still here.

Anyway,   I've got another summery card to share today but I really need to get back into Christmas mode! I've used the adorable 'Hedgehogs Sunflower Friend' from Di's Digi Stamps.

I've coloured him with promarkers and the background papers are from Anna Marie Designs - Garden Bloom. I've used a die namics picket fence die and my favourite Fabulous Flowers die from Hunkydory. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.

Good Evening Everyone,
It's been a very busy half term, I can't believe it's almost over! Thank you so much for all the messages and best wishes for my Mum. Christmas Snowman at AYLI

Good Morning Everyone,
Before I do anything else, I need to say a HUGE thank you for all of your lovely comments and good wishes that you sent for my mum. I'm so relieved to be able to tell you that she has come home. She has to rest and take things easy. The main worry is her eyesight - she has been left partially blind. It might come back, or it might not. I can't go and visit her yet as due to coronavirus we are in tier 2 in York and I work in a school so don't want to risk passing anything on. Just so happy she is back home with my dad!
Right...onto crafty things....It's time for a new challenge at As You Like It. This fortnight the theme is...

I'm having problems getting to all your lovely blogs from my reading list as it keeps coming up with a warning asking if I really want to go there!! Tom was laughing at me because apparently I was shouting at the computer that 'Of course I want to go there, I've been going there for years!!'
