A card!!

Good Morning Everyone,
Cricket season has started, and Emma is back playing which means my crafty time has stopped!!  She plays for 4 different teams and had 6 games last week! I'm spending a lot of evenings on the edge of a cricket field...in my winter coat!! Where's the sunshine?!!

Anyway, I found this image already printed off - bonus - as I don't have to faff around switching the computer on!! This is an old image from Digi Stamp Boutique.

I've coloured her with promarkers and copics and the background papers are from Nit Wit Collections. I've used a Creative Expression peony die, A Hunkydory Moonstone oval die, scalloped oval die and  a sentiment stamp from Lili of the Valley.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

Little Badger Gardening - LOTV DT

Good Morning Everyone,

I've coloured him with promarkers and copics and the background papers are bits and pieces from my box of scraps but I think they are Craft Creations and Echo Park. I've used a watering can and rake from a First Edition garden die set, a Die-namics picket fence die, Memory Box puffy clouds and a Lawn Fawn sun die. The sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
As You Like It - Favourite Sketch or Layout : I love creating little scenes for all the cute stamps. I think it just brings them to life a little bit more. There are so many dies available to add those little touches too...clouds, sun, fences etc..

I hope you are all having a lovely bank holiday weekend. Emma is playing cricket today so we have a 2 hour drive up to Newcastle...it's raining here so hopefully the sun is shining up there!

Saucer Magnolia

Good Morning everyone,
My Mum was 80 last Thursday so I can now share the card I made for her. She loves magnolia flowers so I used this gorgeous image from Power Poppy - Saucer Magnolia.

I've coloured them with copics and promarkers. The background papers are from Make & Create. I've used a Hunkydory Moonstone flower die, a Honey Bee Burlap background die and a Spellbinders Grand decorative circle die. The sentiment is computer generated.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:-
Stamping Sensations - I Love.. : Colouring, adding dies but most of all 'my Mum' as the card is for her.
We Love Stamping - Favourite Stamps : I've used the stamp a few times now, it's so pretty and perfect when you don't want to do 'cute'.

Emma had a break from her cricket over the winter (lots of horrible things happened last year) and we weren't sure that she would go back to it, but last week, she decided she would! That means, training is back on, games are back on and she has a bit of 'catching up' to do. My crafty time is diminishing rapidly!!
I promise I will try and get round to visiting you all this week.  For now, I have to go and clean the house as my out-laws are arriving to help celebrate my Mum's birthday!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my little blog today and for all your comments and encouragement. Have a lovely weekend.
