Cottage Rose

Hello Everyone,
We have been all over with Emma's cricket but yesterday we had to go all the way to Coniston in the Lake District!  Emma's team won and what a stunning setting it was for a game of cricket and lots of sunshine too.
After the 3 hour drive home last night, I'm worn out!!
This is one of those cards that has taken days to make...10 minutes here...10 minutes there etc! I finally got it finished, using a Stampendous Stamp called Cottage Rose.

I've coloured it with promarkers and layered it onto green card, just adding a few drops of liquid pearls to finish.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my litle blog and for all your comments and encouragement.

This is stunning Lorraine, a gorgeous rose and beautifully coloured.
That was a long way to drive for a cricket match, it sounds like it was worth it though.

Absolutely beautiful Lorraine, many thanks for joining in with our 'Celebrations' theme at Stamping Sensations challenge.

The weather is certainly not ideal for cricket this year and I can remember those long journeys from when Alex was in the County team, the day is gone. I remember one vividly when the match was in Swansea, it's almost an overnight from here.
